Return & Refund Policy

At Banaras Heritage, we take pride in offering authentic Banarasi products crafted with care. Please read our Return and Refund Policy carefully before placing an order.

Returns

We accept returns only in case of damaged, defective, or incorrect products received. Customers must notify us within 48 hours of delivery by contacting our customer support team with clear photos or videos of the issue.

Returned items must be unused, unwashed, unaltered, and in their original packaging with all tags intact. Any product showing signs of use, wear, or damage after delivery will not be eligible for return.

Products such as customized orders, made-to-order items, cut fabric, sarees once fall/pico is done, or items purchased during sale are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Refunds

Once the returned product is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed within 7–10 business days.

Refunds will be issued to the original mode of payment. For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be processed via bank transfer or store credit, as applicable.

Shipping charges, if any, are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error.

Exchanges

Exchanges are allowed only for damaged or incorrect products, subject to stock availability. If the requested replacement is unavailable, a refund or store credit will be provided.

Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled within 12 hours of placing the order, provided the order has not been shipped. Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled.

Important Notes

Slight variations in color, texture, or design are natural in handcrafted Banarasi products and do not qualify as defects. Such variations are not eligible for return or refund.

Banaras Heritage reserves the right to deny returns or refunds if the policy conditions are not met.
